Last week, Treet had the privilege of attending the prestigious Inauguration Ceremony of the Takhleeq Business Incubator Innovation and Entrepreneurship Challenge (TiEC’23). This intra-university competition is designed to align with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals, inspiring students to develop innovative and sustainable business models that tackle societal challenges head-on.
At TiEC’23, our Group Head of Innovation, Sohaib Chaudhry, had the honor of joining a distinguished panel discussion on “Innovate to Elevate: Innovation & Entrepreneurship in the Era of Digital Disruption.” Alongside esteemed veterans of the startup ecosystem such as Monis Rahman, Kamran Niazi, Dr. Shehryar Shahid, and Kanwal Cheema, Chaudhry shared his insights and experiences. Before the panel discussion, Chaudhry took a moment to connect with the student council and imparted his wisdom on the importance of innovation. He encouraged students to think outside the box, embrace creativity, and fearlessly take risks in pursuit of their goals. He emphasized the immense value of innovation in solving real-world problems and creating impactful solutions.
During the engaging panel discussion, Chaudhry shed light on the pivotal role innovation plays in driving economic growth and the significance of industry collaborations. He highlighted Treet’s ongoing efforts to foster innovation in various aspects of our operations, including digital production performance, product development, business intelligence, marketing, e-commerce, freight forwarding, and HR automation.
Treet extends its heartfelt gratitude to Faizan Khalid, the director of the Incubation Center, and the TiEC team for extending the invitation to participate in this remarkable event. We are proud to support initiatives like TiEC’23 that nurture the spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship, empowering the next generation of visionaries to shape a brighter future.
